Our Heroes
This is the story of fifteen Latino firefighters who went up the World Trade Center that Tuesday morning and never came out. Several of them had broken down barriers: the only Puerto Rican in the firehouse, one of the first Hispanics to join the Fire Department. All of them were doing their jobs, the extraordinary job of putting the lives of others ahead of their own. This is the story of our heroes.
